Lead Operations Technican
• accept completed facilities for operation;
• carry out process monitoring (on-site monitoring);
• carry out intervention operations (e.g. start-up, shut down, sampling, venting, isolation etc.);
• control emissions to the air and water in order to prevent excess over maximum permissible concentration;
• operate utility systems
• lead and monitor the Production Operator activity, support Apprentice Operators;
• active and regular involvement in emergency drills and exercises to gain experience and confidence in management of emergencies related to installation as a member of the a Non-professional Emergency Response Team (NERT), implementing duties in accordance with relevant Company standing orders and Emergency Response Plans and Procedures
• undertake emergency response as part NERT, implementing duties in accordance with relevant Company standing orders and Emergency Response Plans and Procedures
• manage the crew as directed by the Shift Supervisor, i.e. set priorities, instruct employees, monitor and asses performance of the crew members;
• lead the operation of wells, production facilities and utility systems, rectify process disturbances, start up and stop production facilities and utility equipment;
• ensure routine inspections of production and utility facilities, HSE, permit to work system and housekeeping are completed;
• troubleshoot and detect malfunctions in the operation of all mechanical and process equipment located onboard the offshore platform;
• manage leak testing of well equipment and testing of well performance, including well development and ramp-up work;
• manage pipeline pigging work;
• take and record accurate readings during well tests, required production data, utility equipment data; prepare reports, verify accuracy of data if deviations from the set working conditions are found;
• monitor safety system status continuously;
• promote positive attitude towards maintenance and improvement of HSE performance;
• hold daily coordination meetings on operational issues;
• make improvement proposals;
• organize timely the required stocks to operate the facilities i.e. tools and materials, chemicals, lube oil;
• maintain equipment histories and technical information in SAP
